We honestly don’t have the words.
What started as an idea to honor Jake’s love for soccer became something far bigger than we ever imagined.
This past weekend, hundreds of players, families, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and friends came together for the inaugural Jake Tallon 47 Strong Soccer Tournament. The fields were filled with competition, laughter, friendship, and love, everything Jake loved most about the game.
As we looked around Soccer Park, we saw old friends reconnecting, teammates making memories, and an entire community showing up to support our family and The Jake Tallon 47 Strong Foundation. It was overwhelming in the best possible way.
To every team that played, every sponsor who gave, every volunteer who donated their time, and every person who came simply because they loved Jake or were inspired by his story, we thank you.
You reminded us that Jake’s impact did not end with his passing. His kindness, courage, perseverance, and love for soccer continue to bring people together and help others.
Because of your support, we will continue funding the missions that are most important to Jake and to our family.
Most of all, thank you for helping us keep Jake’s legacy alive.
We know he would have loved every minute of this day.
